The Business Conference Will Return to California State University, Bakersfield in 2010

Conference organizers announced today that they will be returning to the California State University, Bakersfield campus for the 2010 25th anniversy "special encore" presentation of the Bakersfield Business Conference.

Conference founder and organizer George F. Martin said:

"Over the last few months, we have received numerous requests to move the 25th Anniversary Conference to Cal State University, Bakersfield, which was the Conference site for more than a decade. In fact, the input in favor of a return to the campus from our past attendees was almost universal. So we will once again be building our patriotic tent city on the soccer fields of CSUB!”

Conference communications director Brandon Martin added: "While we initially had planned to feature 24 speakers – an ambitiously large number for any single day event – the event will now feature over 40 speakers. The patriotic tent city location at CSUB allows us to offer multiple venues with multiple perspectives and educational opportunities and still focus on making the event a fun and memorable experience for all."

The “conference city” at CSUB will feature a large main tent that will seat in excess of 8000 attendees with assigned table and chairs. Several other tents for the day will operate similarly including a business tent, celebrity tent, how-to tent, meet-the-lenders tent, exhibition tent, stars and stripes arcade, and bookstore, ice cream pavilion, farmer's market, sports sent, beer garden, quiet area, medical center, refreshment centers, outdoor theater, CSUB tent, press tent. The Conference grounds will will also allow many other opportunities for learning, networking, and just having a great time all day and into the night.
